Privacy policy

Aberdeen Equity Corp processes personal data for ManagedVPS.online in line with UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, company, billing address, VAT number), usage and billing records, support tickets, and server metadata (IP addresses, hostnames, package type).

Identity verification (photo ID & selfie)

To prevent fraud we require identity verification before provisioning. Verification is performed by Stripe Identity (or, if configured, Veriff or Onfido). You submit a government photo ID and a selfie with liveness check directly to the provider.

We do not store raw ID images or selfies on our servers. We retain only the provider's verification reference, status (verified / failed / manual review), timestamps, and any failure reason codes.

Stripe Identity processing is subject to Stripe's privacy notice. Approximate provider cost is $1.50 per check (~£1.20).

Legal bases

Contract performance, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), and legal obligation (tax records).

International transfers

Servers are in Germany. Payment and identity providers may process data in the UK, EU or US under appropriate safeguards.
